Bangalore is capital city of Karnataka, India. It is also called as garden city and once upon a time 80% of the city was covered with greenery. Locals tell many stories like elephants use to come closer to their house and have seen tigers close to their villages around 15 years back. Now the forest has reduced to 30-35% but still there are many places to visit close to Bangalore which are mentioned.

Kempfort Lord Shiva temple
Kempfort has huge Lord Shiva statue and situated near marathally (murgesh palya) Bangalore. You can also have virtual tour to all dam inside temple premises.
Bannerghatta zoo
Bannerghatta zoo is almost 15 kms from BTM layout is a national park with zoo. You can enjoy safari and see tigers, lions, beers and then can see elephants in zoo and get paid ride. there is butterfly park as well.
Innovative film city
Innovative film city is located outside city area on mysore road and is almost 30-40KMs from city. You can buy tickets and visit various sections like ghost house, mirror maize, replies believe it or not, dino park, roller skates, game zone, roller coaster ride, people often see some serial shooting or short movie shooting there. There are many other games also available there.
Wonder La
Wonderla is also on mysore road and is almost at equivalent distance like innovative film city. If you love rides and swimming and rain dance then you can go to wonderla.
ISKON Temple
ISKON temple is located in Rajaji Nagar bangalore is one of the largest ISKON temples in the world.
Bull temple
Bull temple is very close to bansankri in area called basavangudi. You can see lord ganesha temple and lord shiva temple and the special attraction is the big bull statue. There is a park behind the temple and you can notice lots of bats on trees.
Lalbag botanical garden
Do visit lalbag botanical garden once as its very beautiful place with lot many varieties of plants there. There is a small lake inside the park.
Sridharguda
Sridharguda is a meditation ashram and you can see lots of greenery there. Its very calm and silent place. Its located in Rajarajeswari nagar.
Omkar hills
Its located in chansandra, Rajarajeswari nagar close to uttarahalli and very close to JSS college.
You can notice a large HMT clock made of cement there.
Sri Raja Rajeswari Temple
This temple is inside rajarajeswari nagar and there are many other small temples like Naimishamba temple etc.
Shanmukha temple
Shanmukha temple is situated on shakti hills in BEML layout rajarajeswari nagar. The temple is very beautiful and you can see entire rajarajeswari nagar from the top of the hill.
MG Road
Its considered as most happening place in Bangalore and you will see same crowd at 1AM also. There are many malls there nearby.
Nandi hill and skandagiri
These two hills are located on new airport road and is almos 40-50KM from city center. These places are good for trekking and sunrise view.
